JUST WHAT IS 'LIVING THE GOOD LIFE'? FIRE. FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE RETIRE EARLY

Living the good life. Just what is 'the good life'?

 You may ask?

According to Helen and Scott Nearing: if you are spending up to 4 hours a day working for your necessaries, as they called their basic expenses,

and you did not have to commute because you work from home, and you spent your time with your loved ones doing what you want to be doing then YOU ARE LIVING THE GOOD LIFE.

I love the way they don't complicate this issue, and they do have a lot of age old wisdom to give in their book.

It was instrumental in my formative years, I enjoyed reading it.

It gave me the perspective I needed to build on as a young man while everyone around me was spending their best years working for the man.

Great read if you enjoy rugged individualist thinking.

Their micro enterprise happened to be small scale farming which I did not emulate, and figured I could replace with my own micro enterprise ideas to achieve similar results in life style.
