WHAT'S THE OPPORTUNITY COST OF WORKING UNTIL YOU'RE 65? FIRE. FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE RETIRE EARLY

What's the opportunity cost of working until you're 65?
Speaking as one that has established financial independence three decades ago, I look back at all of the things I have been able to devote my time to.
I once was having a chat with an older man about this. He appeared to be in his late fifties or early 60's. So it was kind of odd to me that when the discussion arrived at having free time, speaking to someone that was 20 years his younger, he asked me...and what do you do with your free time?
I admit to being a bit taken back by the question. I mean, I could learn how to take care of my health, learn to grow my own food, learn to cook good meals like pizza and lasagna, I could...etc. etc. and those are just the tip of the ice berg, and they are personal to me and my interests.
It stunned me that an older man would ask me, as if he had not even considered it for himself. I got the impression he was too busy.
What about you? Have you ever thought about what your life would be like with just even 10 more hours per week to do as you please?
FI earlier or retiring better if you're already there so that you can live the life of joy and fulfillment with more disposable income and better standard of living in the present moment.
