This little touristy town is waiting for you to plunk down your money in one of its many over-priced eateries and hostels. Montanita is still not that built up, unless you call bamboo huts with thatched roofs built up...yet the prices reflect differently.
The beach is nice but the waves...um..er...um, well, the waves are not that big for being a surfers paradise. We've seen far bigger waves in two other coastal towns so far in our travels up the Ecuador coast, which we will mention in our new Ecuador Coastal Guide we're now writing! What's all the hub-bub about Montanita? More later.
