There is a lot of holidays, festivals and celebrations throughout the year in Cuenca Ecuador. Our favorite is the November Art Festival which starts the 2 of November. The Festival will have various activities, food, traditional dances and music, and beautiful displays of various artisans of South America. You will see arts and crafts of many varieties during the first part of November. It starts downtown below the stairs on 12 of April (Doce de Abril) and extends all along the river. In El Centro at Park Calderon there is live shows and fireworks!
Cuenca also has another Art Festival (not as big) which starts the first of April too.
