The main and largest grocery store in Salinas/La Libertad area is in the Paseo Shopping Mall. It's too far to walk if you're coming from the Malecon, but you can catch a city bus and for .25 cents get to the mall in about 20 minutes. You catch the bus on the second row back from the Malecon going North. To get back to the Malecon after shopping, cross the street of the Mall and hop on another bus for .25 cents.
