Locals Warn Us about Crime on the Coronado Beaches Panama

Coronado Panama beaches are very clean and beautiful. We felt safe walking from Coronado beach towards the Gorgona beaches and we did every day without issue...during the day! When the tide is out you can walk the other way too, towards San Carlos. We did that one day and two local women told us to be careful walking too much further because there is no police patrolling and the thieves "target foreigners". We thanked these two nice ladies very much for the information and turned around.
