Guess what? We encountered a big surprise when setting up house in Salinas. Yep, its a bombshell alright. We always used to say that Cuenca is the most expensive city/town in Ecuador. It's not true, Salinas has shown us time and time again that it is the most expensive place to live in Ecuador.
