Is Salinas Ecuador or Cancun Mexico the cheapest beach destination for Americans. After doing some research we find that rental prices are just about the same. Curiously, Cancun has been getting hyped for a lot longer time than Salinas Ecuador, however. Neither beach destination would we call "cheap" but it is what it is after flocks of Americans have moved to these 2 popular destinations on the retirement circuit.
