What I Don't Like about Financial Minimalism. Whenever new terms appear on the scene it's usually done to accommodate certain behaviors that either sound better than the real word usage or make us somehow feel better about something and in this instance with the term "financial minimalism", it's both and the term can mislead people who are struggling in the FIRE movement with being frugal and trying to save money for their FIRE.
