So during this covid-19 virus crisis is it a good time to buy gold and silver? There is a time to buy gold and silver and there are certain things you should watch out for that will provide the clue(s) on whether or not it's that time. So is gold and silver going to go up in 2020 - 2021? Watch! Crystal Ball time.

F.I.R.E. FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE RETIRE EARLY BLOG

FI. Financial Independence, and RE retiring early FIRE, we've all heard of it. It's why we're all here. How to do it, how to enjoy it.

It is my belief and opinion that being financially independent can and does potentially put us in a strong

position so as to be able to weather any concocted storm that is thrown our way.

We are fortunate and blessed. I shudder to think if I was still dependent on some local economy at this moment.

We must be prepared and strong at all times, regardless of where we are on our journey to financial independence.

And that brings me to this thought.

FIRE movement as it is presently understood is an internet phenomenon.

I have seen it called "the internet FIRE movement".

There is some truth to that.

However Financial Independence is as old as the hills. It is not new. Benjamin Franklin practiced it at the formation of the north America.

And it goes all the way back to Abraham in the bible around 5000 years ago.

So what is the deal with "internet FIRE movement"?

I believe that the internet is a blessing because we can gather together and share what is working and what is not working.

In that respect it is important to realize that no one guru has the holy grail to FIRE.

There are many and varied risks to any of the options out there.

The effects of the current manufactured crisis is just as real as if it was not manufactured.

Let's all join together and help one another understand. Without judgement, without condemnation.
