We found another quaint $2.50 almuerzo restaurant in Quito Ecuador, and this time we're having the fish. We noticed there are still many $2.50 almuerzos in Quito and even in the tourist district of La Mariscal! If fish isn't your thing you can substitute it for chicken instead.

Salinas Ecuador: San Lorenzo beach and Malecon on a Sunday afternoon. It's high season and some of the crowds have already left. We we're told that during the end of the month in December Salinas is packed with people for the holidays.

Santo Domingo Plaza or Square, located in El Centro of Quito is home to many of the traditional dances, music, and foods as well as to some of the Ecuadorian's creative arts. Taking Taxi on POPULAR "6 de Diciembre Ave" from North to South in Quito Ecuador

6th de Diciembre is a popular Avenue in Quito as you can get to many popular attractions from here, such as mega shopping at the Quicentro Mall or Megamaxi and Park Carolina, plus Ejido Park in the La Mariscal District is located right off of 6 de Diciembre; and it is the main route for the ever-popular and getting more crowded every day, Ecovia transportation which costs a whopping $0.25 cents. It veers onto 10 de Agosto right before entering into the El Centro District of Quito.

We're Enjoying a Meal in a Quaint Almuerzo Restaurant in El Centro of Quito Ecuador

This is a quaint restaurant located in the El Centro district of Quito. The food was Ecuadorian style, however it was unique to anything we have eaten, at least so far in Ecuador. The food was good, especially the aji and the cream of potato soup. There are numerous almuerzo restaurants in Quito...just start walking around and you'll run into them. We share our tips and guidelines for finding the good ones in this video.
